Performance and Activism The Performance and Activism module explores how modes of performance inspire and generate activism toward human rights in areas of freedom of expression, environmental and economic justice, gender rights, and political equity.
Strategic & Organizational Communication This module will encourage students to understand how organizations can use technology to catalyze constructive, innovative, and mission-driven practices.
Playwriting Responding to the heightened enthusiasm for the generation of new works in the SoC, the Playwriting module is designed to nurture a community of playwrights, ultimately preparing them to present themselves effectively to the profession.
Sound Cultures The Sound Cultures module explores the interdisciplinary field of sound studies with attention to sound as cultural expression, creative practice, and a key component in the study of performance as communication.
Media and Creative Markets Students will investigate the histories and contemporary conditions of media and creative markets and explore how power, capital, value, labor and regulation affect culture.
Media Arts and Game Design The Media Arts and Game Design module explores the foundations of digital interactive art, gaming, creativity for web, sensor based interactions, and useful daily applications of digital media.
Theatre Management The Theatre Management module will prepare students to begin careers as theatre managers and leaders.
Theatre for Young Audiences The Theatre for Young Audiences module will allow students to heighten the synergy between active student groups, Evanston and Chicago community and professional companies, production work, and coursework.
